Countdown to the 2018 Olympics in PyeongChang:

A true Canadian born and raised in Hamilton.

Nick was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario. While attending St.Jean de Brebeuf high school, he asserted his athletic abilities playing soccer and football. Nick completed his post secondary education at Bishops University in Sherbrook Quebec – completing four successful football seasons with the Gaiters and graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Major in Entrepreneurship.

Nick started his bobsleigh career in January 2013.  He wasted no time in learning to drive a bobsleigh as he took the front seat on the track in Lake Placid, New York. Following this training, Nick had an impressive start to the 2013-2014 season, placing 3rd at the Canadian Championships. Nick’s success on the 2013-2014 North American Cup circuit continued - with starts consistently in the top 5 amongst stiff competition alongside some of the foremost World Cup sleds.

Nick started the 2014-2015 season on the Winsport Academy Team - an accelerated pilot program for the National Bobsleigh Team - clinching two 1st place finishes on the North American Cup. Nick’s success quickly escalated in the second half of the season, as he moved to the National Team to compete on the World Cup Circuit. His 15th place finish at the World Championships was the highest finish for a Canadian Men’s Team.

Nick’s current world ranking is 18th out of 90 sleds.
